Hi, I’m Cara! I’m a web content specialist working out of Annapolis, Maryland, which means I spend my life on a computer, but that job doesn’t give me as much of a creative outlet as I need. Fortunately, I also have been making up stories since I was a little kid (don’t ask about six-year-old me’s terrible crossover fan-fiction), so when everything came to a crashing halt in 2020, I started writing my stories down. Those stories eventually culminated in The Tales of Afeyra.

The Tales of Afeyra are my twists on classic stories and fairy tales. You can expect to find familiar figures, like Red Riding Hood, Robin Hood, King Arthur, and Cinderella, in my stories, but you’ll also find new characters who, hopefully, you’ll fall in love with just as quickly as I did.

When I’m not lost in my fantasy world, you can find me playing cozy games or spending time with friends from church. I have a serious sweet tooth, which feeds into a baking addiction. I also agree with C.S. Lewis’s statement that you can never find a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me. But let’s give it a shot!
